Requirements:

• Completed higher education in General Medicine with specialization in Gastroenterology
• Membership certificate of the College of Physicians and valid license to practice medicine
• Up-to-date knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal, liver and biliary disorders
• Skills in performing and interpreting upper/lower digestive endoscopies
• Excellent communication skills with patients and effective interdisciplinary teamwork

Responsibilities:

• Assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with digestive disorders according to current guidelines
• Perform endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy) in conditions of maximum safety and comfort for the patient
• Monitor clinical course and adjust treatments according to therapeutic response
• Participation in therapeutic decisions within multidisciplinary teams for complex cases
• Monitoring the implementation of measures to prevent and control gastrointestinal complications
• Involvement in continuing medical education activities, clinical trials and research initiatives organized by the hospital
• Maintaining a transparent and empathetic relationship with patients and their families
