STDs (sexually transmitted diseases – STDs) are infections passed from one person to another through unprotected sex (without a condom). Anyone who has unprotected sex can catch an STD. The greater number of sexual partners, the greater the risk of contracting an STD.

There are a number of signs and symptoms that may reminiscent of an STD:
